An open letter to my anxiety

Dear Anxiety,

I can’t get a moment of peace inside of my chaotic mind. With you, there is no quiet. I’m constantly analyzing and questioning everything. I shouldn’t have to triple check myself twelve times to get even the slightest bit of relief. Just once, I wish you’d listen to me and stop listening to what you think everyone else is saying. You make living impossible. You take something that doesn’t need fixing and you break it beyond repair. You make my thoughts whirl and fizz around like soda pop bubbles. It’s honestly exhausting.

Love, Me
